On a glorious Saturday morning, April 8th to be precise, 84 golfers descended upon the lush fields of Grandezza Golf and Country Club to participate in the much anticipated 6th Annual Charity Golf Classic to support the Freedom & Virtue Institute’s Self Reliance Clubs.

The Self Reliance Clubs assists students in meeting their educational needs through work.  Students work at the school (urban farming, arts and crafts, helping veterans and other initiatives), earn money and learn economics.  Instead of remaining passive recipients of magnanimity, they now become active participants in lives built be themselves.

Without the gracious generosity of our players and sponsors, we could not support the current 13 self reliance clubs, a total of 125 students actively working towards self reliance in the 2016-2017 school year.
